I'll be honest, I took this in for the sheer novelty of it. You can spin it how you want but only the government could call 35 pounds of hard candy a "carbohydrate supplement". The tin is still factory sealed from December of 1964. The consigner had another opened tin and was gracious enough to offer me a sample. I declined. Basically, they are a little round hard candies, bringing you the goodness that only sugar, corn syrup, artificial flavor, and US certified food colors can bring to a nuclear bomb fallout shelter.
